  • 1.14.24: Hostages on the Heart:

    Remembering those still held captive: January 14 marks 100 days since Hamas abducted the more than 130 hostages still held captive since October 7. The Times of Israel featured Rachel Goldberg, the mother of Hersh Goldberg-Polin, as she urged supporters to tape the number “100” on their chests to recognize the length of time her son and others have been stolen away. She hopes to have at least a million people show their support in a campaign called “Hostages on the Heart.”

    The campaign asks supporters to show their solidarity and spread awareness on January 14 by writing the number 100 with a black marker on a piece of masking tape and placing it on their shirt, over the area of the heart, then posting a picture of the number with the tags #Bring_Hersh_Home and #BringThemHomeNow on Facebook, Instagram, X or TikTok.

Jewish Federations along with 50 partner organizations have launched #BlueRibbonsforIsrael, a unity campaign in support of the safe return of the hostages taken by Hamas terrorists in Israel. It symbolizes solidarity with the hostages, their families, and all who care about their safety.
