On April 21, the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County held its 2021 Virtual Annual Meeting, during which its new Board Chair, Annual Campaign Chair and Facilities Corporation President were installed, along with the 2021-2022 Officers of the Corporation and Board of Directors. The Jewish Federation of SPBC is excited to welcome the following people to their respective leadership positions:

Chair of the Board of Directors Larry Feldman: An avid community activist, philanthropist, entrepreneur, and business mentor, Larry is dedicated to helping individuals and groups realize their dreams and goals. His service to the Federation has included serving as its Financial Resource Development Chair, Campaign Chair, and Chair Designate.

Beyond the Federation, Larry serves as a board member of the Boca Raton Regional Hospital Foundation, and has served on the boards of Congregation B’nai Israel, Pine Crest School, and Boca Grove, where he was also president. He and his wife, Diane, created the Feldman Family Diamond and Adventure Clubs at Ruth & Norman Rales Jewish Family Services (JFS) to provide seniors with socialization and learning opportunities.

Professionally, he is CEO of several corporations, including two regional Subway Sandwich Divisions. Larry began his career as Legislative Counsel to Congressman Stewart McKinney and then as counsel to the Banking Committee of the U.S. House of Representatives. A University of Bridgeport graduate, Larry received his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School.

Jill Rose, Annual Campaign Chair: Respected as a consummate leader, Jill chaired Women’s Philanthropy for the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County from 2018 to 2020. She also serves as a Federation Vice Chair and Executive Committee member. Jill has been Campaign Chair, Vice Chair of Education and Co-Chair of Social Action for Women’s Philanthropy, as well as Co-Chair of the 2015 Lion of Judah Luncheon. She also serves on the JFNA National Women’s Philanthropy Board.

In other Federation areas, Jill is a member of the Program Funding Council’s Safety Net Services Task Force and a past Co-Chair of the Jewish Community Relations Council. With her husband, Michael, she co-chaired the 2016 Sandler Family Major Gifts Event. She has served as a board member of Hillel of Broward and Palm Beach and Stand With Us, and a lay leader at Katz Yeshiva High School, from which her three children graduated. She is also an alum of the National Young Leadership Cabinet.

Jill began her Federation relationship in 1991 with a young adult mission to Israel, sponsored by the Jewish United Fund in Chicago, where she was working in Brand Management/Marketing for Kraft Foods. She and her family moved to Boca Raton in 2007.

Facilities Corporation President Arthur Goldberg: Serving as Board Chair from 2018-2021, Arthur will continue to lend his expertise to the Federation in this new role. In 2012, he was asked to chair the annual Addison Reserve Country Club golf event for Federation; following which, he became Chair of the Addison Reserve Annual Campaign, and then a Federation Board member.

On the Board, he has served on the Executive Committee, as Assistant Treasurer and Vice Chair, and as Chair Designate. He has chaired the Personnel Committee, served on the 2017 Ad Hoc Federation and Jacobson Jewish Community Foundation Investment Committee, and has served on the Federation Finance and Audit Committees. He currently serves on the Jacobson Jewish Community Foundation Board. With his wife, Hedy, he also chaired the Federation’s Annual Meeting, and co-chaired the 2017 Community-Wide Spirit of Israel Mission. A Wall Street figure for more than 40 years, Goldberg finds deep satisfaction in using his business acumen for the benefit of the community and Jewish people.
