At the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County, advocacy means ensuring our community is never standing alone.
That message was reinforced again and again during Israel Advocacy Day in Washington, D.C., where more than 500 Evangelical Christian and Jewish leaders, including pastors, rabbis, advocates, and community representatives, came together with a shared purpose: to stand visibly and unapologetically with the Jewish people and the State of Israel. Among those representing our local community was Rabbi Greg Weisman of Temple Beth El.
Alongside partners including Jewish Federations of North America, conversations in the halls of Congress centered around two clear messages:
Antisemitism is anti-American, morally dangerous, and incompatible with the values of a free and democratic society.
And the alliance between the United States and Israel remains critical, enduring, and deeply rooted in shared democratic values.
Throughout the gathering, one sentiment remained constant:
“The Jewish community need not, and does not, stand alone.”
Participants heard from Yechiel Leiter, Don Bacon, and leaders from organizations including Eagles’ Wings, Israel Allies Foundation, and ICEJ USA, alongside Senator Ashley Moody.
At Federation, we know this work is about more than policy. It is about relationships, partnership, and ensuring Jewish communities feel supported, protected, and connected during a time when that solidarity matters deeply.
We are proud to stand with those who continue to speak out against antisemitism, strengthen support for Israel, and remind the Jewish community that we do not stand alone.
