Join the Jewish Women’s Foundation Trustees as we celebrate 23 years of giving and this year’s grant recipients. As a butterfly symbolizes transformation, growth, and new beginnings, JWF reflects that same journey – creating meaningful change and enriching the lives of those around them.

Unchained: A Story of Courage, Freedom, and Hope
Featuring: Fraidy Reiss
Trailblazing activist, author, TEDx speaker, and founder of Unchained At Last
Fraidy Reiss turned survival into activism. Forced to marry a stranger at 19 and enduring 15 years of abuse, she broke free and rebuilt her life. She founded Unchained At Last to help others and fight for systemic change, securing child marriage bans in 16 states with 34 more to go. Fraidy’s story of courage and resilience is both heartbreaking and inspiring. Join us to hear her vision for a future where no one is forced into marriage-and discover how we can unite to break the chains of this injustice.
