This summer, 215 local children are attending Jewish summer camps with the help of scholarships made possible through the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County.

For generations, Jewish summer camps have helped young people build confidence, form lasting friendships, strengthen their Jewish identity, and develop leadership skills in a supportive and engaging environment. Whether gathered around a campfire, participating in outdoor adventures, celebrating Shabbat, or learning alongside peers, campers gain experiences that foster personal growth and a deeper connection to Jewish life.

For scholarship recipient Mia G., camp represents an opportunity to challenge herself and develop skills that will serve her well beyond the summer. “Being at camp for several weeks will help me grow into a leader in a way I can’t do anywhere else,” she shared.

For many families, scholarship assistance makes these transformative experiences possible. By removing financial barriers, Federation helps ensure that more children can benefit from the friendships, mentorship, and sense of belonging that Jewish camp provides.

The lessons learned, friendships formed, and confidence gained at camp often last far beyond the summer, helping shape the next generation of engaged and connected Jewish leaders.

Supporting Jewish summer camp helps strengthen the future of our community. Help more children experience the friendships, leadership, and Jewish connections that last a lifetime. Visit JewishBoca.org/ourimpact to learn more.
