Even as our hearts remain with Israel today, the impact of our community’s support continues to be felt in meaningful ways across the country.

Through allocations from our Israel Emergency Fund, the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County helped fund critical mental health programs for those most affected by ongoing conflict. In partnership with Momentum – Thank Israeli Soldiers, two initiatives, Eyes to the Horizon and Project Homefront, are providing vital support to both soldiers and their families.

Eyes to the Horizon offers active-duty combat soldiers a 2–3 day opportunity between missions to process their experiences, strengthen resilience, and reconnect with their units. Thanks to Federation support, 10,320 soldiers across 23 IDF units participated in the program. The impact has been profound, with significant increases in unit cohesion and emotional strength reported by both soldiers and commanders.

For families at home, Project Homefront focuses on the often unseen challenges faced by wives of IDF reservists. Through guided gatherings, retreats, and support tools, the program helps reduce isolation and build resilience. To date, 5,125 participants have taken part in emotional support circles, with thousands more receiving resources to stay connected during extended deployments.

As one participant shared, “Nothing gives me more strength than being with women who can relate to what I’m going through.”

These programs are a powerful reminder that Federation’s impact extends far beyond immediate relief, strengthening the resilience of individuals, families, and communities across Israel when they need it most.
