… we’re able to visit Bella. Bella is a Holocaust survivor who lives alone in Boca Raton. However, she is not lonely because part of your gifts goes toward making sure that volunteers from our partner agency, JFS, visit with Bella and keep her smiling.
… we’re able to connect Kate with her campus rabbi, while she is earning her degree. Part of your gifts goes toward funding Hillel programs and creating a sense of community for Jewish university students.
… we’re able to place Steven at a local business that employs adults with special needs. Through our partner agency, JARC, people with disabilities receive special training that prepares them for self-sufficiency.
… we’re able to assist nonprofit organizations, like Sharsheret, Gift of Life Registry and JScreen. … and working through the Jacobson Jewish Community Foundation, we’re able to send teens, like Evelyn Paige and Rose, to summer camp, during a time when their parents need help. During the pandemic, giving you the ability to help your neighbors navigate difficult times has been one of the main functions of the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County.
