Safety Net Services
We are nourishing bodies and minds. Together, we reach out to the most vulnerable among us — from Holocaust survivors to families in crisis to young adults suffering from mental illness to neglected children — making sure that nobody in our community is left behind.
Those we support find sustenance on the shelves of local food pantries and in the hot meals delivered to their doors. They find hope in the faces of volunteers, counselors and caring professionals who offer helping hands in their hour of need.
When the strong are weakened by an unforeseen crisis — pandemic, natural disaster, unemployment, loss of a loved one — we are there.
“I formed deep friendships with other moms … realizing that I was not alone.” – Nancy, as she learned how to navigate life as a mom of a child with autism with help from Federation’s Disability and Inclusion liaison.
William K. & Naomi Kramer Fund for Jewish Life and Learning
We live our values through action. Federation partner agencies and synagogues are preparing and supporting the next generation of Jewish change makers. With a commitment to educational and cultural experiences, we are empowering and sustaining the Jewish future — ensuring our children, grandchildren and all members of our community have a sense of pride in their Jewish heritage.
Investing in the Next Generation: Together with Jewish day schools, we provide educational excellence, giving children a substantive identity built on Jewish values. Furthermore, our young adults connect and learn through opportunities on college campuses, in Israel and right here in our local community.
Supporting our Educators: We prepare teachers and support staff by providing professional learning opportunities. We prioritize Holocaust education, ensuring teachers help students understand the consequences of prejudice, bigotry and all forms of hate.
Reaching out into the broad community: We support synagogue and agency programs that engage unaffiliated Jews in communal, religious and social affairs, ensuring that every Jew can find a connection in our Jewish community and institutions.
“This year has been an incredible journey for me! It has been one of the most meaningful, fulfilling, and amazing experiences. I have met so many wonderful people in South Palm Beach County who will always have a place in my heart.” – Ella, a visiting emissary from Israel during 2022-23.

Special Needs
We believe that everyone deserves to live with dignity, regardless of ability. Together, we strive to promote an inclusive, spirited environment that celebrates the diversity and uniqueness of each member of our Jewish community.
Our Federation and partner agencies offer empowering programs to assist individuals who live with intellectual disabilities, mental illness, physical disability or chronic illness. Together, we make it possible for people of all skill levels and experiences to learn, grow and succeed together in one inclusive Jewish community.
“Reaching out to the Adolph and Rose Levis JCC and enrolling my son in Camp Kavod has been game changing for him. I don’t think he has ever felt as loved and accepted in his whole life.” — Camp Kavod Parent

Israel & Our Global Family
Tens of thousands of elderly Jewish families around the world live in dire poverty. Together, we must ensure they never have to choose between essentials, like food and medicine. Our support expresses a steadfast truth: The most vulnerable community members are part of a global Jewish community that will always have their back. They will never be forgotten.
Our Federation, together with our partner agencies, warm the hearts and hands of tens of thousands of frail and elderly Jews in the Former Soviet Union during the harsh winters. We reach out to troubled young Israelis, offering safety, security and hope. We strengthen the bonds with our sister community, Zichron Yaakov, in Israel. We create real opportunities for Ethiopian Jews to flourish. We rekindle the light of Judaism in Krakow, Poland and other growing Jewish communities across Europe and South America.
With your help, our Federation will continue to reach into every corner of the world, inspiring lifelong connections, breaking the cycle of poverty and responding to urgent needs.
“I have always volunteered because it is something that I love to do. I was part of the Israeli Scouts, bringing myself to different communities, and being a Shinshin is another way to serve the community. I am doing good and feel good about it.” -Rotem, a visiting emissary from Israel during 2022-23.
