Trip Overview & Highlights

Whether you have been to Israel before or Federation’s Mission 2023 will be your first trip, you will have the time of your life! We will travel to our “home away from home” from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, discovering this special country.

Mission Info

Our mission kicks-off in Tel Aviv, the evening of Sunday, October 15, 2023.
Our mission concludes in Jerusalem in the evening on Sunday, October 22, 2023.

What’s included in your journey:

7 nights’ hotel accommodations with hostess service at all hotels

It always feels like there is so much to see and such little time when we visit Israel! For those who wish to arrive early and maximize their time with us, we have two pre-mission day options available on the morning of Sunday, October 15th.

The cost to participate in the either pre-mission day:

$550 (double occupancy), per person*
$220 single supplement

Post-Mission to UAE

As a result of the Abraham Accords, signed in 2020, our Jewish community has the unique opportunity to travel to Dubai and Abu Dhabi for the first time. Those registered for the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County Israel@75 Community Mission to Israel are welcome to sign-up to join us in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for our post-mission trip Monday, Oct. 23 – Thursday, Oct. 26, 2023.

Highlights to experience in the UAE:

  • Visit with the Jewish community of Dubai and Abu Dhabi
  • Have meaningful conversations with Emirati scholars and religious leaders
  • Participate in a festive safari experience in Dubai’s desert
  • Enjoy an exclusive lunch with Israel’s Ambassador to the UAE
  • Experience inspiring religiously diverse sites
  • Marvel in the architectural wonders of the UAE

The cost to participate in the UAE Post-Mission to Israel:

$5,000 (double occupancy), per person*
$1,300 single supplement

*Price is based on a minimum of 35 people and is subject to change should that minimum not be met.

Included in the cost:

  • 1 night stay at the Inbal, Jerusalem (Sunday, Oct. 22)
  • Transfer + VIP Assistance at Ben Gurion Airport
  • Flight from Israel to the UAE (standard seats)
  • Airport transfer upon arrival and departure in Dubai
  • 4 night hotel stay at the Address Fountain View in Dubai
  • Daily breakfast, lunch and dinner
  • All entrance and guide fees
  • Gratuities for bus driver and guides

Mission Payments & Deadlines

Payment Deadlines:

Payment #1 – A non-refundable deposit in the amount of $700 USD per registrant is required to register.

Payment #2 – 50% of the Remaining Balance per registrant will be collected by Wednesday, March 15th, 2023.*

Final Payment– Full balance will be collected by Monday, May 15th, 2023.*

*If space is still available, participants may register after payment deadlines, and will need to pay the amount due upon registering according to the payment timeline listed above.

Cancellation Policy and Fees:

All cancellations must be made in writing by email to missions@bocafed.org by Monday, July 31st, 2023. Cancellation terms for each participant canceled will be applied based on the date that the written cancellation is received, and as per the following schedule:

  • The Mission deposit of $700 is non-refundable
  • 50% of the Mission cost (not including the deposit) is non-refundable after Wednesday, May 31st, 2023.
  • 100% of the Mission cost is non-refundable after Monday, July 31st, 2023.

Additional Information

Flights & Passports

Flight arrangements should be made on your own and are not included in the cost of the mission. The mission officially begins on October 15, 2023.

Airport transfer upon arrival to Israel, and departure from Israel is included in the cost of the mission. VIP Airport Assistance upon departure is also included in the cost of the mission.

Passports must be valid for at least six months beyond your return date from the mission.

Insurance & COVID Information

Our mission providers currently require that each participant purchase the travel and health insurance of their choice, which must include a section covering COVID-19 infections.

We will be adhering to (U.S.) and Israeli COVID-19 guidelines, including testing and vaccination policies, which are subject to change. It is the responsibility of each participant to ensure that they meet the necessary testing and vaccination requirements, (to be arranged and paid for independently).

Mission Tracks

Leading up to the mission start, Federation will send registrants a list of available tracks of interest and optional activities offered throughout the mission.

Participants will be able to request their choice of tracks and activities, specifying their order of preference. Tracks will be finalized based on overall demand by registrants’ selections.

Each track is on a first-come, first-served basis and has a limited number of spaces. More details to come!

Pre and Post Mission Arrangements

Our mission officially kicks-off on the evening of Sunday, October 15, 2023 and ends the evening of Sunday, October 22, 2023. For those arriving early or leaving late, and would like to make hotel or other arrangements, please let us know, so that we can connect you with our travel partner in Israel.
