Federation Invites Men to “Follow the Money: Who Is Really Funding the Terrorists?”
Men of all ages who care about premium time together as well as helping the community have enjoyed connecting with the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County’s new Men’s Division this season. They’ve explored sports, fine spirits and Cuba as they’ve grown a fellowship of strong, committed men who are building a legacy through Federation. Next, at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Sun and Surf in Boca Raton, they’ll be gathering to hear “Follow the Money: Who Is Really Funding the Terrorists?”
Men who share this vital global concern are invited to an exclusive insider's briefing with renowned terrorism financing expert Dr. Jonathan Schanzer, Vice President for Research at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD) and former terrorism finance analyst at the U.S. Department of the Treasury. The evening of intense exploration will begin with the finest companionship. The $50 couvert includes heavy hors d’oeuvres and cocktails, with dietary laws observed. A minimum men's gift of $180 to the 2015 UJA/Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County Annual Campaign is required to attend.
Enthusiasm and support from people like Division Co-chairs Stuart Ganslaw, Peter Wohlgemuth and Gary Rubin have enabled this group to take root and grow quickly. "After the terrific programs and mission to Cuba we’ve enjoyed sharing this season, we’re looking forward to continuing the momentum with a high-profile speaker on a critical topic, and a well-subscribed gathering of guys who care,” said Wohlgemuth.
“Together, our men are creating a better today and tomorrow for our community and our people through Federation with great times and great pride,” added Ganslaw.
The Men’s Committee also includes: Don Brodie, Mark Dern, Bryan Drowos, Arthur Goldberg, Stewart Kasen, David Katzman, Chester Kay, David Kirschner, Michael Krauss, Kenneth Lebersfeld, Chuck Lichtman, Joseph Mishkin and Jeffrey Newman and Michael Shapiro.
