A New Day… A New Vision & Mission Statement
For the past year, we’ve been talking about reaching a new day at Federation – a time when we emerge from the challenges of a fledgling Jewish community and an economic downturn to become a stronger, more cohesive “community builder” – that brings us together to care for each other today as well as tomorrow. That day has come.
Thanks to extraordinary support from our neighbors and community partners, Federation is poised to move from strength to greater strength. We’re meeting more of our Jewish family’s vital needs while planning and securing resources for their future. The community knows we’re a strong investment. Our 2013 Annual Campaign saw a significant increase – the first in several years, and our endowments are on the rise. Our recent, coveted 4-star Charity Navigator rating certifies that we “exceed industry standards and outperform most charities…”
We’re proud to say our future looks bright.
That future is reflected by our new Vision and Mission statements. Not to be buried in a board manual or deep in our website, these short paragraphs will be instrumental in everything we do. We invite you to read them below and, if you’re inspired as we are by our leadership’s meticulous crafting, get involved in helping us fulfill our noble mission. Get engaged, give generously, leave a legacy, volunteer, take the lead, become a sponsor – anything you‘re moved to do. There’s a place for you. Your community needs you. And we can’t fulfill our mission without you.

Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County
Rooted in Jewish values, the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County seeks to inspire and galvanize local residents and organizations to build and sustain a strong, caring, vibrant Jewish community for today and tomorrow.
At the hub of the Jewish community, the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County strategically engages donors, supporters and community partners in addressing and planning for current and future needs of the Jewish people locally, in Israel and around the world.
The Federation accomplishes these goals by: building Jewish community and developing Jewish communal leadership; promoting Jewish identity, education and engagement; caring for the vulnerable; advocating for the well-being and security of the Jewish people and standing with Israel, their spiritual homeland.
