Communities Enjoy a Night of Celebration

About the Event
Members of the Addison Reserve Country Club, St. Andrews Country Club, The Polo Club and the Gold Coast communities came together for a spectacular event featuring a “live art” performance by renowned artist Michael Israel. The event was chaired by, Jennifer & Gary Budlow, Lynn & Lester Garson, Joan & Paul Hauser, Austine & Gary Heldman and Bonnie & Douglas Winter.

Larry Feldman, Campaign Chair spoke about Federation’s vital role in supporting programs and services provided by our beneficiary agencies and the wonderful work accomplished when we come together as a community—locally, in Israel and around the world.

Guests heard from retired IDF Colonel and Israeli government spokesperson, Miri Eisin, who shared “Israel at 69, Hopes and Challenges”. Famed violinist, Yevgeny Kutik performed a beautiful piece for the crowd and shared his personal story of rescue from Belarus and resettlement in the United States, thanks in large part to the Federation system.

After dinner, Michael Israel’s “live art” performance garnered stunning works of pop icons (Einstein, John Lennon, and our symbol of freedom, the Statue of Liberty) that the audience was eager to bid on. All of the pieces were successfully auctioned off, with proceeds benefiting the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County Annual Campaign.

Thank you to our Title Sponsor, Hotwire Communications; Event Sponsor, HJ Sims; and In-kind Sponsor, Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits.
