Together\, we will have an opportunity to explore the roots and evolution of the Civil Rights Movement from a Jewish lens.  \nDon’t miss this exclusive opportunity! January 14 – 16*\, 2025 \n*Mission ends late on the 16th\, depart from Atlanta anytime on January 17 \nMission Co-Chairs: Sandi Fried & Aileen Grebow \nMISSION HIGHLIGHTS: \n• Participate in a Civil Rights Program at Beth El Synagogue in Birmingham\, AL \n• Tour of Selma and Edmund Pettus Bridge and meet with a march participant \n• Learn about Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel and his involvement in the Civil Rights movement \n• Tour of Freedom Park \n• Visit the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute \n• Tour of Montgomery\, Mothers of Gynecology Monument \n• Visit the Rosa Parks Museum \n• Tour the Equal Justice Initiative Museum and Memorial \nHotels: \nHilton UAB Birmingham\, Embassy Suites\, Montgomery and Marriott Atlanta Airport Hotels. \nA $600 deposit can secure your spot\, or you can choose to pay the full amount of $1\,550.
