PJ Library’s “Cupcake Wars” Was a (Sugar) Rush! (June 7, 2016)

About the Event
What an amazing night!! PJ Our Way and the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County held the first ever Cupcake Wars and it was an overwhelming (and sweet) success! This event, billed as the “Shavuot edition,” had parents “icing” it out with the kids in three rounds of Jewish-themed creative decorating on the pre-made, plain cupcakes. A special thank you to Winn Dixie for donating the cupcakes and icing.

Thank you to Miriam Klein, Jewish Federation’s Young Adult Division Board Member and Cara Beim, PJ Library mom for chairing the event, and thank you to our amazing judges: Federation President and CEO Matt Levin, Adolph & Rose Levis JCC Executive Director Randy Colman, and Ruth & Norman Rales Jewish Family Services Vice President of Programs, Shari Waknin. Thank you to the emcee for the evening, DJ Roni Raab from Shalom South Florida. What a special night!

It was a great partnership with Jewish Federation of SPBC and PJ Library's newest chapter- PJ Our Way!

We love our PJ families as much as we love cupcakes!
