Children Get Into the Groove During PJ Library’s Annual Summer Concert (July 28, 2016)

About the Event
Guitars. Lights. Dancing. Singing. This was the scene for PJ Library’s annual summer community concert featuring headliner and beloved children’s musician, Rick Recht.

Families packed Zinman Hall on a warm July afternoon to enjoy the positive and fun music from the “pioneer of the Jewish rock music genre.” He welcomed local PJ songleader Miss Susan up to the stage, indulging little ones with song after song, encouraging dancing in the aisles, offering hopeful messages through song and reflections on Judaism to the audience who roared back their enthusiasm.

Toward the end of the program, he had many of the children join him on stage for a final sing-along that let the kids get a taste of the limelight as their parents captured the moment in photos. It was another memorable PJ library Community event!

All families living in South Palm Beach County raising Jewish children from six months through eight years old and nine to eleven years are welcome to sign up for PJ Library® and PJ Our Way™. Families will receive a free high-quality Jewish children’s book every month.
