Young Adults Wander to Salt 7 in Delray Beach (November 7, 2013)

About the Event
With a growing turnout each month, the Young Adult Division attracted almost 100 Jewish adults in their 20s to early 40s for Wandering Happy Hour at Salt 7 on November 7. The scene was set with gorgeous weather allowing participants to mingle in and out of the posh private party room and open air outdoor patio seating area at one of the hottest spots on Atlantic Ave in Delray Beach. One could feel the pulse of excitement and energy as new and old friends sipped on cocktails, schmoozed and enjoyed the company of like-minded peers. Division Chair, Bryan Drowos, announced YAD’s Adopt-a-Project to provide iPads to enhance learning and vocational training for residents of the Jewish Association of Residential Care (JARC). Donations of any amount received a raffle ticket, raising more than $200 for the evening. Two lucky winners each received a pair of tickets to see Israeli World Boxing Champion, Yuri Foreman, at Knockout Night at Hard Rock Live!

Generously sponsored by the Sandelman Foundation, the Young Adult Division (YAD) provides a wide array of meaningful opportunities for young adults in their 20s to mid-40s to engage, socialize, learn, volunteer and be philanthropic. Save the date for the Annual Blue & White Chanukah Party on December 7 at Il Bacio in Delray Beach! Advance tickets are only $18 and can be purchased online at jewishboca.org/blueandwhite.
