Young Adults Celebrate Season in Blue and White (December 7, 2013)

About the Event
More than 100 young Jewish adults in their 20s to early 40s from throughout South Palm Beach County celebrated Chanukah at the second annual “Blue and White Party” on December 7. Reserve exclusively for the Young Adult Division, Il Bacio Bar & Lounge on Atlantic Ave in Delray Beach set the perfect scene to hang out with friends, meet new people and dance the night away! With a mix of tradition and today, the evening featured latkes, hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar, and the guests brought gifts for children in need. YAD Chair Bryan Drowos briefly shared Federation’s important work, and our local and global impact. Federation President & CEO Matt Levin dropped in to socialize with the next generation.

The event was led by YAD Social Chairs, Lawrence Melcer and Margot Shooster, and Blue & White Event Chairs, Lauren Friedman and Richard Koblick. The night’s festivities were made possible through the generous support of the Sandelman Foundation.

The Young Adult Division (YAD) provides a wide array of meaningful opportunities for young adults in their 20s to mid-40s to engage, socialize, learn, volunteer and be philanthropic.
