YAD’s Blue & White Party Lit Up the Avenue (December 20, 2014)

About the Event
Atlantic Avenue hotspot Honey was the place to be as almost 200 young adults came out to celebrate Chanukah at the YAD Blue & White Party. The crowd enjoyed an amazing night with a live DJ playing the best music, dancing, food and socializing with old and new friends.

Event chairs Rob Weingard and Margot Schooster gave welcoming remarks, and commented on the more than 100 toys that were donated by event attendees, all of which will be given the Ruth & Norman Rales Jewish Family Services, an agency supported by the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County.

Upon arriving, guests were asked to select their “My Jewish Identity,” by placing a sticker in one of six categories to visually show how young adults feel about their Jewish roots.

The Host Committee and Board Members organized one of the best events of the year, and are looking forward to the next YAD event, YAD Happy Hour at Salt7 on January 29 in Delray Beach.
