One Day. Two Opportunities to Get Inspired & Kick Off the Women’s Season with Author Abigail Pogrebin

Women of all ages from throughout the Jewish community are invited to enjoy “An Inspired Journey,” a personal and humorous exploration of the Jewish holidays from author Abigail Pogrebin, as they open the women’s season for the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County on November 7 at Woodfield Country Club in Boca Raton. Women may join in at 9:30 am over breakfast or at 7:00 pm with lite bites.

Abigail Pogrebin is the author of the recently published book, My Jewish Year: 18 Holidays, One Wondering Jew. A former producer for 60 Minutes and Bill Moyers, she has written for publications including Newsweek, New York Magazine, Daily Beast, Forward and Tablet, and moderated conversations at the Manhattan JCC, 92Y, Skirball Center, and Shalom Hartman Institute. She recently completed three years as President of Central Synagogue in Manhattan.
