Marc Serota, World-Renowned Photographer to Headline B&P Industry Icon Breakfast

Amid premium networking, business leaders and professionals from a wide array of fields will have a unique opportunity to hear from world-renowned, award-winning photographer Marc Serota. With over four decades shooting the biggest news, entertainment and sports stories, Serota will keynote the season’s second Lewis Katz Industry Icon Series event on Tuesday morning, October 3, 2017.

Well over 100 local professionals attended each of the widely acclaimed Industry Icon events over the past five years. They’ll gather once again to launch the new season’s series in Zinman Hall at the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County campus, at 9901 Donna Klein Blvd. in Boca Raton. Breakfast (dietary laws observed) and networking will begin at 8:00 a.m., and the program will start promptly at 8:30 a.m. The couvert for the event is $36 per person.

A five time Olympic photographer, Serota’s active career has covered Hurricane Katrina, the Super Bowl and World Series, the Academy Awards and MTV Awards. Most recently his contributions have been to Corbis, AP and Getty Images in the sport and entertainment arena.

Serota's South Florida studio is the birthplace of many famous images for his clients including Reebok, Nike, Nabisco and the Miami Heat to name but a few. Known for his unique and creative approach, Serota is highly sought after by magazines including Sports Illustrated and ESPN. As founder of Polaroid University, Serota shares his secrets with budding photographers.

Named for a preeminent icon of industry and philanthropy, the Lewis Katz Industry Icon Series is a program of the Business & Professional Division (B&P).
