Join Our Jewish Response to Hurricane Harvey
As Hurricane Harvey continues its rampage, the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County has established an emergency relief fund to support the Jewish and general communities bombarded by the storm.
After tearing a path of destruction with Category 4 winds in southern Texas on Saturday, catastrophic, record-breaking rains continue. Unprecedented life-threatening flooding is spreading disaster across a large and widening area, including Houston, our nation’s fourth largest city.
Hundreds of thousands are without power or access to food and water as municipal services, highways, schools and community institutions shut down. As waterways swell beyond their banks, emergency evacuations continue. Shelters will soon house 30,000 of those displaced. For many families and communities, life will never be the same.
Here in South Florida, we know the devastation of powerful storms and the heartbreak of their aftermath. Please join us and compassionate Jewish communities throughout the country in our collective humanitarian response to provide urgent aid.

It is at times like this that our shared commitment to tikkun olam, repairing the world, finds its deepest expression.
