Imagination Israel Celebrates Cutting Edge
High Tech Innovations Captivate at South Palm Beach County JCRC Event
Nearly 600 people enjoyed a unique opportunity to explore Israel’s contributions to the high-tech revolution with an insider’s view of some of its latest innovations at Imagination Israel. Five leading entrepreneurs and scientists traveled to the Olympic Heights High School Theater in Boca Raton on November 30, 2017, to showcase groundbreaking new products that hold wide scale benefits.
Matthew C. Levin, President & CEO of the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County took the stage as moderator following welcomes from Anne Jacobson, Board Chair of the Federation, and Matthew Kutcher, Chair of its Jewish Community Relations Council.
Levin finds the same pioneering spirit that settled the Jewish homeland in Israel’s “Start-up Nation” leading-edge high tech sector. He pointed to how Mobileye, an advanced vision and driver assistance system presented at Imagination Israel three years ago had become the largest ever purchase of an Israeli high tech company.
The products demonstrated were developed in Israel by leading entrepreneurs and scientists. Like so many other high tech Israeli innovations, they have benefit for communities and consumers worldwide.
The five products presented were: Voiceitt speech recognition technology to give natural voice to children and adults with disabilities; Tridom Robotics technology for safe, time and cost-effective high rise window washing; Skyline’s cloud-based systems to detect costly, wasteful water leaks in municipal and industrial systems; Sheba Medical Center’s imaging techniques that explore the eye as a window to the brain that can detect signs of Alzheimer’s before clinical symptoms become apparent; and Zeekit, a virtual fitting room platform and app that reinvents the way consumers browse, share and shop by enabling them to “try on” fashions virtually.
Part of the year’s celebration of Israel’s 70th Anniversary of Statehood, the program was presented by the Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) of the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County in partnership with the Judi & Allan Schuman Center for Israel Engagement. The event was generously sponsored by Hotwire Communications and Polen Capital. Boca Magazine was the Exclusive Magazine Sponsor and The Florida Jewish Home was Newspaper Sponsor.
