PAC Mitzvah Society Honors Michael J. Shapiro
About the Event
Local estate planning professionals honored Michael J. Shapiro at the annual Irving Eckhardt Mitzvah Society cocktail and dinner reception on February 20 at the Waterstone Resort & Marina. The Mitzvah Society recognizes individuals who have guided clients to establish charitable legacies with planned gifts to the Jacobson Jewish Community Foundation (JJCF). A devoted member of the JJCF board and Investment Committee, Shapiro works as a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley, focusing on financial planning for corporate executives and high net worth individuals.
The event was co-chaired by Laurence I. Blair, Esq. and Jonathan Bloom, Esq., who shared their well wishes as well as entertaining anecdotes about the guest of honor. In an eloquent and heartfelt address, Jerry Kramer spoke firsthand about his positive experience working with Shapiro and how grateful he was for Shapiro’s assistance in securing his gift to the JJCF.
The JJCF is generously sponsored by Greenspoon Marder. The Mitzvah Society reception was sponsored by Beth El Mausoleum, Lesser Lesser Landy & Smith, MBAF, Proskauer, Rehmann, Law Offices of Daniel A. Seigel, and Steinberg Global Asset Management, Ltd.
