JWF Announces $100,000 in 2017 Grant Awards at Reception
About the Event
Jewish children in foster care or, tweens who receive exceptional Jewish-themed books monthly, women who desire to lead, individuals with disabilities, teenagers connecting with Holocaust survivors. These are just a few examples of those who will benefit from the Jewish Women’s Foundation (JWF) of South Palm Beach County’s latest grant awards. The 2017 grants announcement was made at the annual JWF Granting Wishes Cocktail Reception on March 15 at the beautiful Boca Rio Golf Club.
More than 100 guests gathered to learn the organizations receiving this year’s $100,000 in grant awards, to hear stories of those whose lives have been changed through JWF support, and to enjoy award-winning author, Ellen Brazer. Granting Wishes Co-Chairs Hinda Bramnick, who also serves as Grants Chair, and Gina Lohmann emceed the program.

Over its fourteen years, our local JWF has awarded nearly $1.2 million to programs for women and children. Touted by JWF Chair Alice Kemper as “hands-on philanthropy,” members of the group choose together where to allocate the funds they, themselves, contribute. For more information about JWF, please visit jewishboca.org/jwf or contact Lisbeth Rock Cauff at 561.852.3188 or email@example.com.
The JWF Granting Wishes Reception was generously sponsored by Boca Raton Regional Hospital and underwritten by Fit On You Alterations. Southern Wine & Spirits of America Inc. and Greenseid Catering were In-Kind Sponsors, and The Boca Raton Observer was Exclusive Magazine Sponsor.
