Hundreds of Local Christians and Jews Vow “Never Again” at March of Remembrance (April 12, 2015)

About the Event
Vowing, “Never again,” South Palm Beach County members of Jewish and Christian denominations came together with Holocaust survivors and community leaders on the Sunday before Yom HaShoah. With banners proclaiming their purpose, 250 of them walked half a mile in solidarity from Boca Raton Christian School to Temple Beth El. At the temple, 500 joined in a deeply moving ceremony featuring survivors, children from participating synagogues and churches, local Jewish and Christian clergy, other dignitaries and world class music.

The 2015 March of Remembrance was a regional, collaborative effort uniting the Southeast Florida community through churches, synagogues and community groups. Planning for the event included, among others, the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County and its Jewish Community Relations Council, Victory Church, Boca Raton Interfaith Clergy Association, Boca Raton Christian School, Temple Beth El of Boca Raton, and The Flame Society.
