A PAC’d Start to the Season
About the Event
The 2016-2017 season hit the ground running during the Professional Advisory Committee Kick-off and Membership Drive event on September 15, 2016. Members of the legal, accounting, investment advisory, and insurance fields packed the Renaissance Boca Raton Hotel for a night of networking and socializing.
PAC members and prospects heard from Co-Chairs Samy Dwek and Jeremy Horelick who opened the program, as well as from Cathy Schwartz, Senior Vice President of the Jacobson Jewish Community Foundation and Rich Steinberg, Chair of the Jacobson Jewish Community Foundation who reported on the strides the Foundation is making through the diligent work of the PAC members by establishing new endowment funds, trusts, bequests, life insurance policies and IRAs on behalf of their clients. The evening was filled with energy, warmth and camaraderie among the group, with everyone eager to begin a new giving season.
The Professional Advisory Committee (PAC) is part of the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County’s Jacobson Jewish Community Foundation, which develops permanent resources to ensure the continuity of Jewish life, programs and services in our community, Israel and worldwide, through permanent endowment funds, lifetime gifts, bequests in wills, trusts and planned giving programs. At the hub of the Jewish community, the Federation serves the Boca Raton, Delray Beach and Highland Beach areas, raising and allocating funds to meet vital needs locally, in Israel and worldwide.
