PAC Cocktail Reception & Membership Drive to Kick Off Season
Local estate professionals will share much more than congenial company, prime networking, and a lively cocktail reception at the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County’s Jacobson Jewish Community Foundation’s PAC Kickoff & Membership Drive Cocktail Reception. Gathered at the Renaissance Boca Raton Hotel on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at 5:30 p.m., they’ll also share a deep commitment to helping the Jewish community in a most significant way.
“The Kickoff will bring together many of our community’s most influential legal, accounting, investment advisory, banking and insurance professionals,” said event Co-Chair Samy Dwek. “We’ll enjoy a great evening together as we open another season of raising support for the Foundation toward its mission of meeting the needs of Jewish family now and into the future as the ‘savings account’ of our Jewish community.”
Numbering 110 and counting, the Foundation’s PAC members are estate and trust attorneys, financial wealth advisors, accountants, trust officers and insurance professionals who encourage charitable giving through the establishment of new endowment funds, trusts, bequests, life insurance policies and IRAs on behalf of their clients. The PAC also provides networking opportunities, training and client educational tools for professionals from a variety of disciplines.
“The PAC is an integral part of our Jacobson Jewish Community Foundation,” said event Co-Chair Jeremy Horelick. “Chaired by Richard D. Steinberg, CFA, our Foundation’s vital role is to develop permanent resources, through endowment funds, lifetime gifts, bequests in wills, trusts and planned giving programs, to assure the continuity of Jewish life, programs and services here, in Israel and throughout the world.”
“We look forward to sharing with newcomers how our PAC members provide clients with compelling options to truly make a difference where it’s needed - through individualized restricted and unrestricted gifts that meet their clients’ philanthropic goals as well as financial interests,” added Laurence I. Blair, Esq., PAC Chair.
The reception will include passed hors d’oeuvres and a number of stations, with dietary laws observed, at a couvert of $60 for PAC members or $75 for nonmembers. Renaissance Boca Raton Hotel is located at 2000 NW 19th St., Boca Raton. For more information, please contact Lisbeth Rock Cauff at 561.852.3188.
